Anti-Bullying Contract

August 22nd, 2008

I understand that bullying behaviors are wrong.  They are harmful and hurtful to all members of our school family, of which, I am an important part.  In addition, I realize there are many forms of bullying behavior that include fighting, teasing, name-calling, spreading rumors or gossip, and even excluding others from activities.  I also know that bullying behaviors can only exist when the students at the school do not stand up for what is right by speaking out and reporting problems.  In fact, bullies  rely on the silence of the victims and their fellow students.  I understand that it is not snitching to report problems, but instead, is a sign that I am a responsible and caring person who helps protect other members of my school family.

If you agree to this contract, post a comment below.
